This is a construction article with plans for an ultra micro version of Joe Beshar's classic Shrike design.

I reviewed the F4F Wildcat for Speed 400 kit by Ryan Aviation (Jim Ryan).

In the years between I did a number of reviews for FM of various products including boats and airplane kits.

Tide Hydroplane FM, November 1993 - December 1993.

The Tide was an 05 electric model in 1/16 scale of a contemporary hydroplane.
The model hull design later was developed into the UL-125/UL-10/UL-72 kits that I sold under the RC-Hydros.com brand. Available in fiberglass or ABS, these kits are still available on ebay occasionally, often using the part number UL-1 or UL-1ABU.

Slo-Mo-Shun IV FM, June 1992.

The Slo-Mo-Shun IV was my first published design, a 1/16 scale model of the famous 1950's hydroplane.

Cesa 1882 FM, May 1992.

My first article was a review of the ABC Models CESA 1882 electric offshore boat. I enjoyed that hull it so much that over the years I bought two more of them for racing aftef replacing the gear box with a direct drive system.

The LVRCS Ellis Grumer Memorial E-Fly is an annual event held in Pennsylvania every June.
